About the job

We are seeking a specialist/consultant radiologist for Radiology and Scanning, SUH, Nykøbing Falster. We can offer an exciting position with varied diagnostics and opportunities for professional development.

Radiology in Region Zealand has been brought together under SUH since 1 January 2022, with one common department management and a total of 7 departments. Common protocols have been introduced across all areas, there are shared triage guidelines, and we have in general a strong focus on collaboration and sparring across sites. We have a shared RIS/PACS system, which enables professional sparring and collaboration across the sites. We strive to ensure that all of the department's units are attractive workplaces with permanently attached radiologists, while also offering a robust community across the sites.

Nykøbing Falster Hospital is an acute hospital and part of SUH, which entails ongoing expansion of the clinical functions at the hospital. The tasks will mainly lie within the thoraco-abdominal and acute area, involving all modalities, including ultrasound (US). There are skilled reporting radiographers attached, who handle most bone examinations and fracture conferences.

The position includes on-call duties. There is on-call coverage from home until 22:00. The night shift is covered every day of the week by TMC. Home office is offered and a home-working day can be arranged.

Employment will take place on an ongoing basis and by agreement. Salary in accordance with the collective agreement.
