About the police district
The Prosecution Authority at the South Zealand and Lolland-Falster Police consists of about 75 staff, including about 50 lawyers distributed across three offices: The Office of the Prosecution for Special Cases (SP), The Office of the Prosecution for General Cases (AS) and The Office of Quality, Development and General Cases (KUA). Prosecution staff typically appear in the district courts in Næstved and Nykøbing Falster. In cases from UKA East, prosecutors appear in district courts across all of Zealand.
We work purposefully to ensure that the local Prosecution Authority can measure up to the best workplaces in the country when it comes to well-being. It should be a place where a single, integrated Prosecution Authority within the police district helps each other and consistently delivers visible results, without anyone being able to question our integrity and dedication.
