We are currently seeking a day-care provider, where your workplace is at your home. The day-care service in Thisted Municipality consists of 83 skilled and dedicated day-care providers distributed across 13 districts, four day-care pedagogues, of which one is team leader, two full-time elected representatives and a section leader. Although the job is independent, you become part of a large network where there is always a team behind you, ready with support and sparring.

This means that there are many colleagues, playroom groups and professional partnerships, day-care pedagogues, external professionalities and your section leader to discuss day-care everyday life with.

When you are a day-care provider, there are many bonuses that come with it, such as

• You plan the everyday life yourself based on the group of children you have.
• Close support, advice and guidance from the day-care pedagogue.
• The possibility to prepare food, laundry and other tasks as pedagogical activities and naturally also in your breaks.
• Opportunity to have your own 0–2 year old children in day care.
• Free on weekends and public holidays.
• No commuting time to and from work.
• Opportunity to be at home when your own children come from school and during school holidays.
• Training in the professional standards jf. the strengthened pedagogical curriculum that all daycare offers work from, as part of the Day Care Act.
• Work with action learning as part of developing yourself and your own practice. This happens, among other things, through video recordings of yourself in interaction with the children, and viewed through an ICDP approach. It focuses on being part of an evaluation culture and making yourself wiser to do even more of what we know supports the children's well-being, development, learning and formation, which is constantly in movement and change in the context.

Salaries are set according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local wage formation. The specific salary range will be disclosed prior to the interview.

Applicants and persons over 15 years old in the household must, if employed, sign a consent declaration regarding the obtaining of a child certificate.
