A childminder is sought in the Arden area with start in November or December 2026

If you are looking for a meaningful job where you can have a significant influence on the content of your daily life, then we have the perfect position for you as a childminder.

Your most important task will be to create a safe framework with presence and care, where the children can thrive, develop and learn.

In close collaboration with the parents you will contribute to the children's development and formation in the home-like environment within a small fixed group of children.

In our day care you will meet skilled and engaged colleagues with whom you will collaborate in a full-day playroom. Together you create activities and play for the children in the local area.

We strive for a high professional level and to create quality in everyday life for the youngest children with lots of play and good routines. The days with the children are characterized by presence, empathy and being close to the children from drop-off to pick-up.

We create exciting learning environments where the children feel seen, recognized and valued. Environments that allow space for both planned and spontaneous activities, and where we follow the children's needs and interests. We plan the day based on the small group’s daily form. We work with learning plans and evaluations of them. It requires that one is good at adjusting one's own actions for the benefit of the children.

As a childminder you will have a versatile and exciting position. There will also be opportunities for personal and professional development through various professional courses and further education.

We expect that you

• are glad to work with small children and are skilled at building relationships with both children and adults
• are responsible and can work independently and purposefully
• can create inclusive and affirming learning environments
• actively contribute to an exciting and educational play environment at home and in the playroom
• participate in close collaboration with parents, colleagues and other partners
• are open to guidance and supervision and can apply it in practice
• have suitable housing, and your family is willing to open the home to children and their parents
• are reliable and stable

The day care provides an electric stroller, toys, high chairs and much more, as well as the necessary guidance and sparring.

Salary and employment terms

Employment is on collective agreement terms, where the salary is agreed with the bargaining organization.

Criminal record and child protection checks will be obtained, and employment is conditional on these being approved.
