We are recruiting daycare providers in Sønderbro, Aalborg city centre and Vejgaard

As a daycare provider in Aalborg Municipality you work from home and at the same time you have colleagues across the city. Hugs and smiles are part of everyday life, and you get the opportunity to make a difference in the most important years of children's lives.

You and your daycare children set the pace yourselves, and that gives time to be ambitious for the pedagogical work with the individual child.

The most important thing is that you are empathetic and able to build good relationships with children and parents. Even though the job is independent, you become part of a large network. You always have a team behind you, ready to provide support and sparring, and you have opportunities to meet with your colleagues.

We expect that you

• have a good intuition and can create security and good relationships through care and presence
• can see the individual child's needs and plan your day accordingly
• are passionate about working professionally and pedagogically with children – where the children's well-being, learning and development are always in focus
• want good cooperation - with children, parents, colleagues and daycare pedagogues
• make your home available so the residence becomes part of a safe and inspiring environment where children can learn
• are able to work closely with multidisciplinary partners; for example speech therapist, physiotherapist/occupational therapist, Multidisciplinary Team, Health Visitors and others

All new daycare providers participate in programs with basic training – including ICDP, language, body and movement, learning and development environments, parental cooperation and first aid. You will be equipped for the work of translating the Daycare's curriculum into how you create the best framework for the children's learning, well-being, development and formation.

Your salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the bargaining organisation. Criminal and child protection checks will be obtained before final employment.
