Take the lead in implementing and anchoring a security culture

With reference to the Chief Legal Officer you will have overall responsibility for information security, cyber security and risk management at Evida as well as leading a team of five employees in Cyber Security as well as Risk Management & Compliance. You will be responsible for bringing the existing strategy to life and delivering results through targeted follow-up on already initiated initiatives.

At the same time you will play a central role in building and anchoring a systematic approach to risk management that becomes an integrated part of the entire organization’s work and culture. The role is highly executive and requires you to both maintain an overview and work closely with the operational tasks. As a leader you should create common direction, clear priorities and momentum in the department’s work.

With broad contact across the group management, IT, OT and the rest of the business, it will also be an important task to translate security requirements into solutions that support the organization’s processes and projects. Your main tasks include, among others:

• Build and anchor a systematic risk management function and conduct and follow up on risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards, including NIS2 and ISO 27001
• Drive the existing cyber security strategy and follow up on decided security initiatives
• Lead and develop your team and promote collaboration across the entire organization
• Set qualified security requirements for IT, OT and external suppliers
• Strengthen security culture through communication and awareness as well as take care of ongoing reporting to group management

Business-oriented security profile with strong execution capability

You have solid experience with information and cyber security, risk management and compliance, preferably from the energy sector, critical infrastructure, defense-related companies, IT or heavy manufacturing. It is crucial that you have practical experience implementing security requirements and establishing processes for systematic handling of risks, including NIS2 and ISO 27001.

You have a strong technical understanding of IT and cyber security as well as experience with OT, so you can collaborate with specialists and set qualified requirements for both internal functions and external suppliers. As a leader you are able to bring together employees, create clear frameworks and translate decisions into action. You work analytically and structurally, but also have a pragmatic approach with an understanding of the business needs.

Your communication skills and natural organizational influence enable you to build trust and followership across the organization. With a robust and action-oriented approach you also manage to stand firm when security requirements meet resistance.
