Cleaner for Facilities Team West, Højby School

About the position

As a cleaning assistant you will be part of the cleaning team in Property Team West, which is responsible for cleaning primarily at Højby School, but there may also be cleaning work at other locations in the West area covering Højby, Tengselmark and Odden. You will be responsible for daily cleaning as well as periodic major cleaning and you will work closely with both cleaning colleagues and service technicians.

Properties are organizationally anchored in Center for Organization and consist of 130 committed employees who work broadly with cleaning, operation and maintenance of all municipal properties.

As a cleaning assistant in Odsherred Municipality, you help ensure a clean and safe working environment, where citizens and users can feel comfortable and where engagement is at the forefront. You will become an important part of our team and we expect you to be meticulous and dedicated in your work.

About the position

The position is 37 hours per week.

You will have a varied daily life and become part of a cleaning team where emphasis is placed on cooperation, flexibility and quality in task execution.

You will report to Operations Manager Anders Bro-Jørgensen

Tasks

• Daily and thorough cleaning of offices and meeting rooms, common areas and other facilities at the Town Hall in Højby.
• Cleaning tasks in Property Team West.
• Contribute to a clean and healthy environment for users and citizens.
• Some incidental service tasks
• Collaboration with colleagues and service staff

We are looking for someone who

• Is reliable, responsible and structured
• Can work independently and at the same time be part of a team
• Focus on quality and order in your work and are approachable and contribute positively to the working environment
• Speaks and reads Danish at a reasonable level
• Has experience with cleaning – or the desire to learn it
