Are you passionate about helping to develop social housing in Denmark and promoting renovations and construction of new social housing in close collaboration with social housing organizations, residents, municipalities, Landsbyggefonden and other relevant parties? Then you have the opportunity to become part of Kuben Management.

The job

With reference to the department head and the regional director and based in Kolding, you will primarily be responsible for advising and supporting the development of renovation and new-build projects from early strategic considerations to project completion. This includes, among other things, establishing a basis for decision-making, managing processes, coordinating stakeholders and following up on the project’s finances, time and quality in collaboration with housing associations, Landsbyggefonden and municipalities.

You will therefore be the central person in the early phases where the project is developed, needs and opportunities are explored and the decision basis is created, but also in the subsequent phases where the project is tendered, carried out and up to the completion of the construction cost statement.

In addition to providing the necessary decision basis, your foremost task will be to focus on the progression of construction operations while considering the project’s stakeholders, economy, time and quality.

Qualifications

Your educational background can be construction-technical or financial – for example you may be a building designer, engineer, architect or have a degree in economics and accounting. The most important is that you have experience with social housing and an understanding of the interplay between the project’s technical, organizational and financial aspects. Your experience may come from a social housing organization, a consultancy firm or a municipal function.

You have a solid understanding of social housing and thrive in translating technical, organizational and financial aspects into a clear decision basis for the client. You also have a good financial understanding and can work with project budgets as well as assess the relationship between construction costs, financing and rent. As a client advisor, you can assess the financial consequences of the project’s choices and bring in specialist expertise when necessary.

It is advantageous if you have experience with the financial terms of funded construction, including grant rules, budgeting, financing and Landsbyggefond cases. If you have experience from the construction or consultancy industry and want to develop your skills within the social housing sector, we would also like to hear from you.

Furthermore, your personality is crucial to your success. You are self-driven, have very good communication and negotiation skills, and you are able to build trust in collaboration. As the leading construction advisory company in the social housing sector, Kuben Management works to create a built environment where people thrive and succeed. You therefore have a high level of ambition to develop towns and housing that are socially, environmentally and economically sustainable.

You will become part of a team of dedicated and skilled colleagues with an informal tone. Knowledge is shared, and people help each other to create good solutions for the clients. This strengthens both the work environment and the quality of the projects.
