Are you a nurse with experience from psychiatry or general practice? Or are you perhaps curious to gain insight into what we ourselves consider the world’s best specialty?

Psykiatriklinikken Selandia is looking for 1-2 consultation nurses who want independent clinical tasks, their own patient contacts and a close interdisciplinary collaboration with short channels for sparring.

We are a smaller, family-run psychiatric clinic with a pleasant and informal tone. We work closely together to create efficient and coherent patient pathways and we set the professional bar high.

Your tasks

As a consultation nurse you will have independent patient contacts and an important role in the patients’ overall course. The tasks will include, among other things:

• medication reviews and follow-up consultations
• ECG
• psychoeducation individually and in groups
• assessment tasks, including clarifying and diagnostic conversations, typically in connection with ADHD and autism assessment
• administration and use of relevant test tools and psychometric tests
• in connection with relevant therapeutic training there is the possibility of your own therapeutic courses, individually or in group.

You do not need to know it all in advance. If you have not previously worked with psychiatric assessment or psychometric test tools, training can take place.

As part of the clinic you will also participate in our training and theme days and have the opportunity for other relevant further education.

Experience from psychiatry, social psychiatry or general practice will be an advantage, but your professional curiosity and desire to learn are also important to us.
