We are looking for an engaged and relationship-focused club staff member for Snedsted Juniorklub.

With us you will have the opportunity to contribute to a safe, fun and development-focused leisure time, where every child shall be seen, heard and experience being part of the community.

The position is 15 hours per week, but the number of hours can vary. Working hours are primarily after school.

About the job

As a club staff member at Snedsted Juniorklub you play an important role in the children's leisure life. You help create activities and frameworks where children can develop, form new friendships and develop their social skills.

Your tasks will include

  • Be present and build good relationships with the children.
  • Initiate and participate in activities, games and creative projects.
  • Support a positive and inclusive community.
  • Help plan and carry out events and trips.
  • Support children in handling conflicts and engaging in social relationships.
  • Contribute to the club's daily operations and practical tasks.
  • Collaborate with the club's other staff, board and volunteers.

Who are you?

We are looking for a person who

  • Is caring, clear and present.
  • Wants to engage in children's leisure time.
  • Can take initiative and at the same time give space for children's own ideas.
  • Can keep an overview and create safe environments in a busy everyday life.
  • Has good teamwork skills and contributes positively to the community.

Experience from a club, school or another leisure activity is an advantage, but certainly not a requirement.

About Snedsted Juniorklub

Snedsted Juniorklub is a leisure offer for children from 3rd grade, where they can, together with friends, participate in activities and stay in safe surroundings after school until they go home or continue to other leisure activities. The club has about 40 registered children and is open all five weekdays with closing times at 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 15:15 Friday.

The Juniorklub is an independent association under Snedsted GIF, which has about 1,000 members. The club is run in cooperation with a voluntary board, regular volunteers. In addition, we have employed two young helpers under 18 who contribute to creating activities at a child-friendly level. As an employee you will have the primary responsibility in the club, though some shifts are covered by regular volunteers.
