About the job

Are you the colleague we will soon be missing in the preventive and outreach efforts?

Carlshuse is Gladsaxe Municipality's psychosocial offering, encompassing specialized home care, social-pedagogical support, activity and companionship offerings, and volunteer initiatives.

We work recovery- and rehabilitation-oriented, with a focus on psychological safety, mental well-being and a strong collegial community. We have a professional environment where interdisciplinary sparring, method development, supervision and cross-department collaboration are in focus and an integral part of daily life.

If you are passionate about working with citizens' recovery process through a psychosocial rehabilitative approach, then do not hesitate to send us an application.

What are preventive interventions?

We are looking for a colleague primarily for the preventive interventions sections 12 and 82b. You must be driven by the purpose of short-term interventions, which are guidance, targeted and bridging, with a focus on civil society. The team itself allocates the interventions. In collaboration with the rest of the team, knowledge is shared and the interventions are planned. Do you have a social work background and think it could be an exciting challenge to help citizens over 30 with various challenges to become self-reliant in daily life? Then you may be our new colleague for the initiative

In Carlshuse there are 17 colleagues distributed in smaller teams. The preventive and outreach effort consists of 4 staff members. Carlshuse has a high professional level, and we are committed to developing and strengthening the interventions to benefit the citizens. The position focuses on prevention, close follow-up, and strengthened collaboration across departments and sectors. Another important focus for us is flexible task handling, self-organization of tasks and personal responsibility.

The mentor/guidance counsellor shall support and guide citizens in a range of different areas. This may include:

  • Motivating to make decisions and achieve one's own goals
  • Support and motivate citizens to create structure in daily life
  • Support the development of personal or social competencies/skills
  • Support to read letters or manage one’s own finances
  • Support to establish and maintain social networks
  • Guidance on navigating public spaces and help to master the use of public transport
  • Guidance on a healthy lifestyle
  • Bridge-building to relevant services

Support and guidance have a rehabilitative approach, focusing on developing skills, but also on preventing loss of skills. The support is provided as help for self-help, and it is expected that citizens participate in the tasks.

We expect that you

  • Are educated as social educator/pedagogue or have another relevant social and health education/training
  • Have little or some experience with the target group
  • Are inclusive, empathetic and see possibilities
  • Are reflective about your own practice, and accustomed to feedback and sparring on practice
  • With engagement connect with the other teams and work together on tasks, where everyone participates in daily operations depending on where a need arises
  • Can collaborate with colleagues in task solving
  • Are comfortable in a changing everyday life
  • Can work independently and with commitment on varied tasks
  • Can build good collaborative relationships across professional boundaries
  • Contribute to the development of interventions and services for citizens
  • Contribute with professionalism and ethics
  • Participate in the development of pedagogical approaches/methods and interventions for citizens
  • Are open and flexible in relation to citizens, colleagues and partners
  • Have knowledge of IT and documentation at user level (we use NEXUS).

We offer

  • An challenging, dynamic and versatile job
  • Dedicated interdisciplinary colleagues who value method development
  • A good working environment where professionalism and sparring are highly valued
  • A values-based organization that focuses on well-being and flexible task handling
  • External supervision, and prioritization of internal professional sparring

A future-oriented organization in development, where coherent citizen pathways, psychosocial rehabilitation, recovery as well as health promotion and prevention are at the core of collaboration with the citizen.

We are united in the task because we want an organization where shared ownership of tasks and development goes hand in hand with flexibility and balance for us as people. We focus on how we solve the task and not who solves the task.
