About the job

Are you the colleague we will soon be missing in the preventive and outreach efforts?

Carlshuse is Gladsaxe Municipality's psychosocial offerings, including specialized home care, social-pedagogical support, activity and socialization offerings, and volunteer efforts.

We work recovery- and rehabilitation-oriented, with a focus on psychological safety, mental well-being and a strong collegial community. We have a professional environment where multidisciplinary sparring, method development, supervision and cross-department collaboration are in focus and an integrated part of everyday life.

If you are focused on working with citizens' recovery process through a psychosocial rehabilitation approach, then do not hesitate to send us an application.

What are preventive interventions?

We are seeking a colleague primarily for the preventive interventions §§12 and 82b. You must be driven by the meaning of short-term interventions that are guidance, targeted and bridging, with a focus on civil society. The team arranges the interventions themselves. In collaboration with the rest of the team, knowledge sharing and planning are organized. Do you have a social work background and do you think it could be an exciting challenge to help citizens over 30 with various challenges to become self-reliant in daily life? Then you may be our new colleague for the initiative

In Carlshuse there are 17 colleagues distributed in smaller teams. The preventive and outreach effort consists of 4 employees. Carlshuse has a high professional level, and we are committed to developing and strengthening the interventions for the benefit of citizens. The position focuses on prevention, close follow-up, and strengthened cross-department and cross-sector collaboration. Another important focus for us is flexible task solving, self-organization of tasks and taking personal responsibility.

The supervisor shall support and guide citizens in a range of different areas. It can include:

  • Motivate to make decisions and achieve own goals
  • Support and motivate citizens in creating structure in daily life
  • Support development of personal or social skills/abilities
  • Support in reading letters or handling own finances
  • Support to establish and maintain social networks
  • Guidance in moving about in public spaces and help to master using public transport
  • Guidance in healthy lifestyle
  • Bridge to relevant offers

Support and guidance have a rehabilitative approach, with focus on developing skills, but also on preventing loss of skills. The support is provided as assistance to self-help, and it is expected that citizens participate in the tasks.

We expect that you

  • Are educated as social educator/pedagogue or have another relevant social- and health-related education/training
  • Have little or some experience with the target group
  • Are inclusive, empathetic and see possibilities
  • Are reflective about your own effort, and used to feedback and sparring on practice
  • With engagement connect yourself to the other teams and work jointly on the tasks, where everyone participates in the daily operations depending on where a need arises.
  • Can collaborate with colleagues in task solving
  • Are comfortable in a changing everyday life
  • Can work independently and with commitment with changing tasks
  • Can create good collaborative relationships across professional boundaries
  • Contribute to the development of interventions and offers to citizens
  • Contribute with professionalism and ethics
  • Participate in the development of pedagogical approaches/methods and interventions for citizens
  • Are open and flexible in relation to citizens, colleagues and partners
  • Have knowledge of IT and documentation at user level (we use NEXUS).

We offer

  • A challenging, dynamic and versatile job
  • Committed multidisciplinary colleagues who value method development
  • A good working environment where professionalism and sparring are highly valued
  • A values-based organization focusing on well-being and flexible task solving
  • External supervision, and prioritization of internal professional sparring

An future-oriented organization in development, where coherent citizen pathways, psychosocial rehabilitation, recovery as well as health promotion and prevention are the focus of collaboration with the citizen.

We are united in the task because we want an organization where sharing tasks and development goes hand in hand with flexibility and balance for us as people. We focus on how we solve the task and not who solves the task.
