At SOP in Odsherred you will be part of a strong multidisciplinary environment with SSAs, SSHs, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and doctors. We work together to ensure the citizen makes the best possible progress.

Here you will have the opportunity to use your professional expertise, take responsibility and help shape the future of close-to-home health care in Odsherred Municipality.

From 1 January 2027, some of Odsherred Municipality's current temporary placements will become Health and Care Placements (SOP) as part of the health reform.

We are therefore seeking social and health care assistants who would like to help get the new placements off to a good start.

A job for you who would like to use your professional skills

At SOP you meet citizens who do not require admission to hospital, but who also cannot receive the necessary health care services in their own home.

They may be citizens after an operation or hospitalisation, citizens with newly arising acute problems or citizens who need close monitoring, treatment, care and rehabilitation.

That means you come close to the citizen's treatment.

You must observe, assess and respond. You must be able to see when something changes, act on it and follow up. You will have the opportunity to use your professional skills in complex situations and develop your competencies along the way.

You help move the citizen forward

You observe, assess and treat as well as support rehabilitation and the citizen's own goals. And you closely follow development, so you can see when your contribution makes a difference.

Be part of building something new

SOP is new, and we do not have a finished recipe for everything. You will therefore have the opportunity to help shape workflows, collaborations and the professional environment from the start.

It requires curiosity and a willingness to take responsibility – but you do not need to know it all from day one. We provide training and professional development along the way. We emphasise competence development, and you will be equipped for the task through a program in which you are introduced to the work at SOP.
