Moment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of Sparekassen for Nørre Nebel og Omegn for a Chief Commercial Officer at the savings bank's headquarters in Nørre Nebel. We are looking for an experienced commercial leader or a strong business advisor with leadership ambitions who can head the corporate area and help shape the continued development of the savings bank. The role suits you who want to be a director close to customers and decisions, and who would rather lead from the front in daily work than sit back as a distant manager.

Your everyday life at Sparekassen for Nørre Nebel og Omegn

You will have the overall responsibility for the savings bank's corporate area and will lead the corporate department at the headquarters. The responsibility covers corporate business in all three branches, including Varde and Outrup. The team is experienced and consists of five corporate advisers, of which two specialize in agriculture, and in addition three customer advisers and one corporate trainee. You report to the CEO and become part of the savings bank's management team and credit committee, where you will draft proposals and approvals yourself.

Management and strategic development occupy the most space. You set the direction for the department and follow up in daily operations so that corporate becomes even more customer-focused and comes out to customers even more often. Together with the CEO and the credit director you develop the corporate business strategically and commercially, and in the management team you help ensure the savings bank operates as one entity across departments.

You stand for a continued healthy credit culture and high quality in the approvals. Decision paths are short, and you get a real opportunity to influence both your own area and the savings bank as a whole. You may have your own portfolio of corporate customers if you wish. The savings bank has ambitions to strengthen the currently skilled team of corporate advisers with more, and you will have the opportunity to help supplement your team.

The customers are primarily master craftsmen and small and medium-sized enterprises in West and Northwest Jutland, and agriculture, which is an important part of the local business community, is an area the savings bank excels at. There is a large potential for further profitable growth among smaller business owners in the area and for advising the whole customer, including the private side of the business owner's finances. You strengthen client visits and proactive outreach and are happy to lead from the front, and you represent the savings bank in the local business community.

You will start at the headquarters in Nørre Nebel, where most of the corporate team sits. The starting point is in-person presence every day, especially in the first period, with the possibility of remote work up to one day per week. Working hours are flexible, and you plan visits to Varde and Outrup yourself.

To be successful in the role…

…you do not need to have previously held the title Chief Commercial Officer or have many years of people management experience. The most important is that you are academically strong on corporate clients and credit and eager to lead others from the front. As a person you are trust-building and relationship-driven, and you create followership and stand by your decisions, even when you are not the most vocal in the room. Additionally you take pride in:

• setting a clear direction and explaining what the savings bank stands for, to both customers and colleagues.
• giving new initiatives the time they require and staying the course.
• maintaining a high professional quality in proposals and approvals, so they are easy to read and decide upon.
• being visible with customers together with your colleagues.
• seeing the whole customer, including the private side of the business owner's finances.

What you should bring

• You are currently a Chief Commercial Officer, head of corporate banking, or similar, or you are an experienced corporate adviser with formal leadership experience who is ready for personnel responsibility.
• You have solid experience with corporate clients and credit from the financial sector and a strong commercial understanding.
• You live within about an hour's drive from Nørre Nebel, or you have for several years commuted similarly and are used to it.

It is advantageous if you

• have had personnel responsibility for corporate advisers.
• have experience with financing and advising agricultural clients.
