About the job
Would you like to help bring advanced production facilities to life for customers around the world?
At Kallesoe Machinery we are experiencing positive growth, and therefore we are seeking a technically strong and engaged Commissioning Engineer for our assembly department in Lem St.
You will play a central role in commissioning our plants at the customer site and will serve as the link between the customer, the project team and the installation team. You will be a key player from commissioning at the factory to installation and handover at the customer, where you help ensure that the plant meets both technical specifications, the customer's expectations and our high quality standards.
Your role
As a Commissioning Engineer you will become part of our assembly department, which handles assembly, testing and commissioning of our systems at the factory in Lem St. Subsequently you will participate in installation and be responsible for commissioning at customers around the world.
You will become the technical key person on site, where you must be able to maintain an overview, coordinate activities and actively participate in the practical work.
You will work closely with project managers, design, automation, service and the customer to ensure a successful delivery of the projects.
Your primary tasks
- Planning and execution of commissioning activities.
- FAT and SAT tests of machines and plants.
- Perform functional, performance and safety tests.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving during installation and start-up of mechanical, electrical and automated systems.
- Documentation of test results, changes and deviations.
- Coordination between project management, engineering, production, customers and partners.
- Ensuring professional dialogue and good cooperation with the customer.
- Contributing to continuous improvements of processes and working methods.
- Support to the service department as needed.
- Participation in assembly tasks between installation projects.
Who are you?
You have a solid technical background and thrive on combining engineering, coordination and customer contact.
Your educational background could be, for example, Marine Engineer, Industrial Technician, Mechanic, Agricultural Machinery Mechanic, Automation Technician, Assembly Operator or similar technical education and experience.
In addition, we imagine that you
- Have strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical and automated systems.
- Can read technical drawings, hydraulic and electrical diagrams.
- Have experience with testing, troubleshooting and technical documentation.
- Work in a structured and quality-conscious manner.
- Proficient in English, written and spoken.
- Are willing to travel for installations and commissioning at customer sites internationally.
Personal qualities
We are looking for a colleague who is comfortable with responsibility and can work independently, while also being a natural team player who contributes positively to collaboration with both colleagues and customers. You are outgoing and good at building relationships, and you are motivated by finding solutions and delivering results together with others. Since daily work can involve shifting priorities and unforeseen challenges, it is important that you are flexible, keep an overview and stay focused – even when many balls are in the air.
We offer
At Kallesoe Machinery you will become part of an international and innovative company with strong market positions and exciting projects around the world. You will have a varied role with a lot of freedom, responsibility and the opportunity to put your own mark on the tasks. At the same time, you will be part of a strong professional environment with engaged and helpful colleagues, where there are good opportunities for both professional and personal development.
The culture is informal, decision-making is fast, and you can look forward to a varied workday with international projects, close customer contact and new challenges, where no two days are the same.
