Communications and Engagement Specialist at Home A/S

Can you find the good story, get people to tell it – and translate it into communication that creates engagement?

home is a nationwide chain with people, stories and good initiatives across the country. We want to be even better at finding, activating and sharing them.

Therefore we are looking for a Communications & Engagement Specialist to help strengthen our internal communication, our own channels and our presence on social media.

This is a role for someone who can write, think in formats and seek out stories – and take responsibility from the process all the way from idea to execution. You should want to be close to the organization, which includes everyone from colleagues at home a/s to brokers and owners in our businesses across the country. And you should have an eye for what is worth telling, which channels are relevant and how we bring it to life.

Your role

You will become part of home a/s and take a central role in the work of creating communication that makes direction, results, initiatives and people tangible and relevant. You will, among other things:

Produce content for internal and external channels – in text, images and video formats

Help activate the organization on social media and develop content that makes it easy and attractive for others to participate and share

Develop and execute internal communication that creates understanding, involvement and engagement across home

Be in close dialogue with brokers, owners and colleagues across the chain and seek out stories, cases, profiles and initiatives that deserve greater visibility both internally and externally

Contribute to the development and operation of our employer branding efforts and work closely with colleagues within, among other things, communications, marketing, sales and People & Culture

You report to Christina Fuglsang, Executive Advisor responsible for communications and will at the same time work closely with colleagues across the organization.

Who are you?

We imagine you are a strong communicator with a good eye for people and stories.

The most important thing is not what title you have today, but that you

• Understand social media and have a sense of what creates interest and engagement
• Can think in different formats and channels – and know that the same story does not necessarily have to be told in the same way everywhere
• Write well and can make complex messages simple, vivid and relevant
• Is good at building relationships and getting people to contribute, tell and engage. You are curious and eager to seek out stories rather than wait for them to land in your inbox
• Understand how to convey messages simply via video and can, to your advantage, shoot and edit simple videos for social and internal channels yourself
• Manage to get the idea and bring it all the way to life
• Is a skilled project manager who can create structure and overview – but at the same time thrives in an organization with a fast pace, many stakeholders and great variation in tasks

We imagine you have 2-3 years of experience in a communications, content, employer branding or social media role.

home is one of Denmark's largest real estate broker chains. We are a franchise organization with offices across the country and a strong local engagement. This also means that our best stories do not necessarily originate at head office. They arise every day in the offices, among brokers, owners and colleagues – and a key part of your work will be to find them and bring them into play across home.

You will therefore have a role with broad contact and the opportunity to shape both content, formats and the way we work with communications.

Practical

The position is full-time with a workplace at our offices in Aarhus or Copenhagen.

You should expect a number of travel days across the country, because part of the job is about being close to the people and stories the communication originates from.
