Communications Intern at Billedskolen Horsens

Would you like to help make art and culture accessible to even more people?

At Billedskolen Horsens we create spaces for creativity – for children, young people and adults. We have many balls in the air, and we love when new ideas take flight.

As a communications intern with us you will have the opportunity to try out many different parts of the communications field – from idea development and strategy to production and execution. You will be responsible for your own tasks, while at the same time you have colleagues around you to bounce ideas off.

Your tasks may include

• Develop communications targeted at Billedskolen's audiences, e.g., through user involvement, campaigns or other initiatives that can make Billedskolen more relevant and visible.
• Create a communications plan for Makværk Festival and help develop the festival's visual and communicative universe. You will, among other things, work with content for the website, graphical expression and campaigns, so that we are strong and ready to drive in autumn 2027.
• Plan and produce content for social media, newsletters, press and print materials, where you can experiment with both format and storytelling.
• Develop ideas for happenings, competitions or other creative initiatives that can enhance the visibility of Billedskolen's activities.
• Dive into students' and teachers' stories and translate them into case studies or portraits.

We practice fixed cake agreements, but we are just as happy when cake suddenly appears without warning. In the same way we thrive with both structure and spontaneity, and we hope you also want to be part of both.

Who are we?

Billedskolen Horsens is part of Kulturstationen in Horsens together with Horsens Music & Ballet School and Komediehuset. We run teaching, workshops and projects for children, young people and adults - often in collaboration with schools and the city's cultural life. We are a small team with three full-time staff, a cultural custodian, and six instructors. At the same time we are part of a house full of creative energies and various cultural activities.
