Companion sought for a client in Holbæk

Would you like to make a tangible difference for another person while also having a flexible part-time job?

We are seeking an accompanying person for a citizen in Holbæk. This is a social-pedagogical accompaniment arrangement under the Social Services Act § 85, where the purpose is to support the citizen in participating in activities outside the home and thereby support an active and independent leisure life.

About the citizen

The citizen is an adult in need of support for planning, structure and execution of activities outside the home.

The citizen thrives with fixed arrangements and a calm, acknowledging approach. There may be a need for support with overview, communication and planning in connection with activities. The citizen uses a hearing aid.

The citizen has, among other things, an interest in

• Swimming
• Café visits
• City trips and social experiences

The citizen would like to visit Holbæk Swimming Hall a couple of times a month as well as go to a café and enjoy lunch in town. Part of the accompaniment can also be to walk to and from the activities.

The citizen values an accompanying person who is calm, patient, stable and good at creating security and structure.

Since the citizen is at work on weekdays, the accompaniment will primarily take place on weekends.

Tasks

The accompaniment can include, among other things

• Walking
• Pool visits
• Café visits
• Social activities and small outings

The activities are arranged with the citizen on an ongoing basis.

• Is reliable and responsible
• Is good at creating secure relationships
• Can support with structure and planning
• Respects the citizen's wishes and autonomy
• Wants to support a person towards an active leisure life

There is no requirement that you have a specific education or experience. The most important is the right personal chemistry and interest in the task.

Working hours

The position is about 15 hours per month.

The hours are planned in collaboration with the citizen and will primarily be on weekends.

• The position is part-time and paid according to the applicable collective agreement
• The citizen covers all expenses related to the accompaniment
• Employment is through LOBPA in accordance with the applicable collective agreement
