Company internship at ARC

At Amager Resource Center, we work every day for a greener future, but also to give more people the opportunity to become part of a working community.

Therefore we offer ongoing internships in different departments at ARC.

Note: An internship is an offering for citizens who are connected to a job center (e.g., via unemployment benefits or social assistance). The internship is arranged in collaboration with your job center, and you continue to receive your benefit during the program.

An internship with us can be an opportunity to try out working life, develop competencies, and become more aware of your possibilities on the labor market.

When you apply, you are welcome to indicate which type of internship you are interested in.

You can, for example, choose among

• Internship as a recycling guide
• Internship as a waste collection worker
• Internship in administrative tasks
• Internship in another area – please write what you have in mind

In your application you may also write

• What you hope to gain from an internship program
• Whether there are any special considerations we should take

It may, for example, be necessary

• Reduced hours
• Special tasks
• Aids or other arrangements that can support a good internship period

We receive many inquiries about internships. Therefore it may take a little time before we get back to you – but you will hear from us no later than within three months, even if we unfortunately do not have the opportunity to offer an internship at that time.
