Would you like to help make the Atlassian platform, DX and GitHub into cohesive tools that support product development at TV 2?

Do you have solid experience with Jira, and are you motivated by creating value through configuration and administration of SaaS platforms? Then you have here an opportunity to take a central responsibility for tools that help several hundred colleagues plan, prioritize and create coherence between their tasks and TV 2's strategic goals.

Responsibility for the Atlassian platform, DX and GitHub

You will have a central responsibility for the Atlassian platform with Jira as the central product as well as for DX and selected parts of GitHub. You configure the platforms to be easy to use for different user groups and to support the agreed standards and workflows.

Your primary tasks in the role will be to

• configure and manage Jira, including projects, issue types, fields, workflows, permissions, automation, dashboards and reporting.
• take responsibility for configuration and administration of DX, selected configuration and administration tasks in GitHub as well as agreed access and licensing tasks.
• ensure data setup, aggregation and automation in the Atlassian platform and DX.
• automate roles, groups and self-service in the Atlassian platform and DX.
• improve data models and data quality and create traceability from concrete tasks to initiatives, OKRs and Strategy 2030.
• ensure stable operations, access management, documentation and knowledge sharing as well as implement agreed standards and templates in close collaboration with Operations Partners, Product Managers and product teams.

Experience with Jira, SaaS platforms and cross-functional collaboration

We imagine you bring the following

• Solid practical experience with Jira and an understanding of workflows, data model, permissions, reporting and automation.
• Experience configuring or administering other SaaS platforms.
• Experience with agile product and development environments and close collaboration with product teams.
• Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, data aggregation as well as automation of roles, groups and self-service.
• Experience using data and metrics to qualify priorities and drive changes from needs assessment to implementation and adoption.
• Good communication and collaboration skills and good English proficiency, written and spoken.

We are open to different professional and educational backgrounds. The crucial thing is that you have technical understanding, are curious and can collaborate with Software Engineers when solutions require coding or advanced integrations.

Your new team

Your new workplace is TV 2's headquarters at Kvægtorvet in Odense close to the train station and light rail. Here you will be part of the Development Platform team in Tech Enabling.

As the team's Configuration Specialist you will have independent responsibility for the Atlassian platform with Jira as the central product as well as for DX and selected parts of GitHub. The team currently consists of 10 Software Engineers, a student assistant and a Product Manager, and you will also work closely with Operations Partners and management across Technology. Your closest colleagues work, among other things, on developer experience, GitHub, secure software development, Infrastructure as Code and container platforms.
