Erhverv og Bolig Byg A/S söker a construction manager for Vejle and a construction manager for projects on Zealand to manage the construction processes on site. You will be an important part of a strong team, and when the construction is handed over, you can look forward to new exciting projects.

Brief description of the projects

These are larger residential projects up to DKK 100 million. As a construction manager you can look forward to having independent responsibility in close collaboration with an experienced project manager and other people on the cases. Your daily work will take place on the construction site to ensure ongoing control and follow-up on activities.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Planning and initiation of the individual trade contracts as well as ongoing effort control
• Hold construction meetings, supervision, etc.
• Ongoing dialogue with suppliers about material deliveries
• Follow-up on schedules and revision as needed
• Safety and occupational health
• Participation as a proactive team player in connection with handover of the project on time and in the agreed quality

You should thus be comfortable taking on responsibility, but from day one you will come under the wing of a present project management that will support you in completing the tasks as well as in your personal and professional development.

Qualifications

You have experience with contracting and construction management and can document that you have independently and successfully managed contracts, in terms of time, economy and quality. The ideal candidate has a theoretical education such as building designer, civil engineer or construction technician, preferably combined with a background as a tradesperson.

You have a high work capacity and, not least, a strong work ethic, and your leadership style reflects assertiveness, overview and engagement. In addition, you have a positive approach to your task solving, and it comes natural for you to lead from the front and “raise the bar” for the whole team.

The company operates as main and general contractor nationwide. Core areas are commercial buildings, larger residential buildings, and retail stores, where they offer to handle all aspects of a construction project – from the idea and maturation phase to tender and the actual construction.

Erhverv og Bolig Byg's office is in Randers, where 18 employees are employed. It is a smaller organization with very skilled project management, which enables the company to be sharp on price, collaboration and quality. Erhverv og Bolig Byg has the necessary capital and performance guarantees to bid on both smaller and larger contracts.
