About the job

We are looking for an experienced construction project manager who can take responsibility for larger investments and complex projects in our shared utility infrastructure in the fields of district heating, electricity and water.

We are looking for an experienced construction project manager who can take responsibility for larger investments and complex projects in our shared utility infrastructure in the fields of district heating, electricity and water.

At EWII Infrastructure we deliver everything you take for granted and develop what you have not yet seen. As a multi-utility company in the Triangle area, we help ensure future green welfare. Climate change, resource use, urbanization and digitalization are the keywords in our work, and we need an experienced project manager who can translate ambitions into concrete construction projects with high quality, safe progress and strong collaboration.

Become the driving force behind the infrastructure of the future

As a construction project manager you will be responsible for planning, managing and executing construction projects from the early idea and design phases to handover and operation. You will play a central role in projects with many stakeholders, technical interfaces and dependencies, where your experience in project management, contract management and cross-disciplinary collaboration will be decisive.

You will be an important part of our journey toward smarter, more coherent and sustainable solutions across our utilities.

Your tasks will include

  • Lead larger and complex construction projects from idea, planning and tendering to execution, handover and operation
  • Create momentum and ensure an overview of economy, time, quality, risks and documentation
  • Manage collaboration with consultants, contractors, authorities and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure professional project management with clear decision-making materials, follow-up and reporting
  • Collaborate across the electricity, water and heating utility areas and provide sparring to colleagues throughout EWII Infrastruktur

We are looking for a construction project manager who primarily will assist on our district heating projects, but in time you will work across our utilities. It is important that you have solid experience with construction project management and thrive when taking responsibility in projects where both technology, stakeholders, regulatory conditions and execution must come together in a higher unity.

A meaningful career with many paths

At EWII you will have the opportunity to make your mark and develop professionally as we develop utility solutions for the future.

We offer an environment with high professionalism, strong fellowship and a culture where curiosity and collaboration go hand in hand. In addition you will get:

  • A career path that matches your ambitions
  • Good development opportunities and ongoing competency development
  • Strong social cohesion, flexible everyday life and healthy work-life balance
  • Attractive pension scheme and good employee benefits

Who are you?

You are an experienced project manager with technical insight and a solid toolbox in construction project management. You may be an engineer, marine engineer or have another relevant technical background, and you have proven experience in leading construction projects, preferably from the utilities sector or a related technical industry.

You work in a structured way, set direction and keep an overview, even when projects are complex and involve many disciplines. You are clear in your communication, good at driving decisions forward and you thrive on collaborating across the organization, consultants, contractors and authorities.

It is an advantage if you have experience with

  • Construction work, tendering, contract and contractor management as well as supervision
  • Project economics, scheduling, risk management and ongoing reporting
  • Utilities sector – especially district heating, water or electricity
  • Collaboration with authorities, consultants, contractors and other external partners
