About the job
Would you like to help make the Greenlandic Health Service an even better place to work?
We are looking for an experienced consultant for the psychosocial work environment and well-being, who can help strengthen and develop the work with the psychosocial work environment across the Health Service.
You should be able to work closely with both employees and managers when work life becomes difficult, including after serious, violent or potentially traumatic events, and at the same time lift your gaze and work with prevention, development and well-being at organizational and department level.
We are open to different professional backgrounds. The decisive factor is that you have solid experience with the psychosocial work environment and can translate your expertise into concrete solutions.
We offer
- A varied consultant role with both advice, conversations, conflict management, leadership sparring, training and prevention.
- Opportunity to make a concrete difference for employees experiencing work-related burdens, including after serious or violent events, which can occur both at the workplace and in connection with work in citizens' homes.
- A central role in the development of the Health Service's work with the psychosocial work environment, well-being and retention.
- A professionally and socially strong team with a focus on professionalism, responsibility, knowledge sharing and good humor.
We are looking for you who
- Have a relevant higher education or experience such as psychologist, occupational health consultant, organizational consultant or within HR or a related area, as well as solid experience with the psychosocial work environment, well-being and prevention.
- Have experience with difficult conversations, conflicts, collaboration challenges, leadership sparring and people in demanding work situations.
- Can handle and follow up on serious, violent or potentially traumatic events, including defusing and debriefing.
- Can work both concretely and relationally while maintaining an organizational overview and seeing opportunities for prevention and development.
- Are clear, empathetic and professional and can assess when a problem should be handled in HR and when other professional areas or external assistance should be involved.
- Speak Greenlandic and Danish.
About us
- You will become part of HR and the Well-being and Retention team.
- HR works to support and develop the organization's employee policy and strategy, including recruitment, retention, employee development, work environment and well-being.
- You will be part of an organization with diverse professional and linguistic cultures where employees and managers solve important tasks for the Health Service and the Greenlandic population every day.
- We emphasize a strong professional and social community and helping each other succeed.
