Consultant for tourism, marketing and town centre development

2-year project position at 32 hours per week

Do you have experience with communication, marketing and cross-sector collaboration among many actors?

Then we have an exciting project position for you.

In Sorø Municipality we are looking for a consultant who can help translate our ambitions within tourism, branding, communication and business-oriented town centre development into concrete results.

You will become part of the Center for Culture, Leisure and Volunteering and will have a central role in the work of realizing Sorø Municipality’s tourism strategy, supporting the Sorø Town Centre project and strengthening communication in the culture and leisure sector.

In particular in the Sorø Town Centre project you will have close collaboration with the project manager, where tasks and roles will be adjusted along the way.

We expect you to contribute to delivering the following results

• Strengthened branding, communication and experience development in the Sorø Town Centre project
• Implementation of Sorø Municipality’s tourism strategy
• Development of experience packages in collaboration with local actors
• Increased visibility of Sorø as a culture and experience destination
• Implementation and further development of communication and branding in the culture and leisure area

We especially emphasize that you

• Have a relevant education in the fields of communication, marketing or similar
• Have experience with branding, communication and marketing
• Have an interest in or experience with tourism and destination development
• Are strong in relationships, networks and collaboration
• Work in a structured way and can translate strategy into action

Employment terms

You will be employed in the Center for Culture, Leisure and Volunteering with reference to the head of Culture, Leisure and Volunteering.

A significant part of the work is linked to the Sorø Town Centre project, where the project manager has professional responsibility for your tasks.
