Consultant to the Grant Secretariat for core funding of civil society organizations

Your tasks

You will become part of the grants team in a newly established secretariat, which will support the management of the new state base funding of civil society organizations in the welfare sector.

As a grants consultant you will be one of the key people throughout the grant process – from call for proposals and guidance to assessment, operational support and follow-up. We are currently seeking a consultant with an economic background who is also motivated by case handling.

As part of the newly established team, we imagine that you

• Have experience with case handling and appeals handling, preferably with grants
• Have education in and experience with working with financial data and accounts
• Strong Excel skills and digital system understanding
• Have a structured approach to work and a flair for detail
• Have knowledge of civil society and its organization and operation. Preferably from welfare sector organisations
• Have an advanced university degree
• Thrive in a job where there will be busy periods and tight deadlines
• Have a positive attitude toward collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Are curious, engaged and proactive
