Do you want to start your career by working with strategy, policy, and serving DR's top management?

In the Staff in DR Economics and Resources you will play an important role in ensuring that DR's management makes decisions on a solid foundation and that DR's strategy is translated into reality.

About the role: Close to strategy, governance and decisions

DR has set a clear direction toward 2030 with the strategy "Diverse Together": DR must strengthen Danish democracy by bringing Danes together across differences.

In the Staff in Economics and Resources we are seeking a consultant who wants to work with supporting DR's leadership and implementing DR's strategy. The position can be relevant for you who are a recent graduate or have relevant experience from, for example, internships, part-time jobs or project work.

You will work closely with DR's leadership and contribute to translating complex issues into analyses, decision briefs and concrete activities. The role will also involve handling DR's collaboration with, among others, the Ministry of Culture, where you contribute with coordination, preparation of meeting materials and process follow-up.

Your core tasks include among others to

  • Prepare notes, presentations, analyses and decision briefs for DR's executive board and governing committees
  • Support DR's collaboration with the Ministry of Culture through preparation of notes, contributions to committee responses and meeting materials
  • Contribute to the implementation and follow-up on DR's strategy and strategic initiatives

About you: A professionally strong profile with a desire to learn and create momentum

We are looking for you who are curious, thorough and collaborative. You take responsibility for your tasks, communicate clearly and thrive in a professional environment where we value open and ongoing sparring and a focus on personal development.

We emphasize that you

  • Have a relevant social or business-related education, e.g. political science, economics, business economics or similar.
  • Thrive with deadlines and can create structure in tasks involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Write clearly and concisely with a view to different audiences and stakeholders.
  • Have an interest in strategy, governance, public administration and a good basic understanding of the interplay between organization, policy and economy.
  • Possess a good business sense

It is advantageous if you have experience from, for example, a study job, internship or project work from, for example, a ministry or a politically governed organization, but this is not a requirement. It is also beneficial if you can demonstrate good business sense, experience with process optimization and/or complex problem solving.

About us: Cross-cutting prioritization and strategic governance

In the Staff in Economics and Resources, we work with executive support for DR's leadership, strategic decision briefs, supporting analyses, agency engagement and follow-up on DR's strategy. We also handle DR's collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Parliament, including in relation to media agreements, public service contracts, contributions to responses to committee questions and ongoing coordination.

The Directorate of Economics and Resources ensures alignment between DR's strategy, economy and resource use across the organization. We support DR's top management in making strategic decisions on an informed basis.
