About the job

Would you like to help raise quality and ensure effective resource support within the healthcare system in Denmark? And are you passionate about project management?

Then you might be the person we are looking for as a consultant in the Health System's Quality Institute (SundK).

As a consultant you will be employed in a quality unit and become a central part of our team, which works with assessments and analyses of treatment methods that are part of the healthcare system's delivery of health services, including health technologies, treatments, diagnostics, rehabilitation, prevention, as well as organizational and collaboration forms. You can read more about: Assessments and Analyses in SundK .

You will also contribute to the quality unit, which also covers tasks within clinical guidelines and clinical quality databases – and together with your colleagues contribute to thinking in synergy across functions and products in the unit as well as in SundK’s solutions to quality challenges in the health system.

Your tasks

In the professional work with assessments and analyses you will participate in project groups that work with assessments and analyses. Everyone in the project groups participates in organizing and drafting the written reports that constitute our assessments and analyses. The reports are presented to the SundK Council, whose primary task is to develop recommendations or advice to the health sector actors based on our reports, see more here: SundK Council .

Your tasks will include among others

  • Professionally anchored tasks in the concrete assessments and analyses and contribute to delimitation, illumination, interpretation and reporting of, among others, clinical, health economic and organizational analytical tasks
  • Plan and manage projects against deadlines and be the point of contact to assemble the project group’s agenda material for the Council in SundK
  • Ensure involvement of clinicians and patient representatives in the clinical committee as well as plan and facilitate clinical committee meetings
  • Be able to tackle health economic related tasks, including, among others, contribute to health economic analyses in the guideline area
  • Contribute to qualifying topics for the function’s and the unit’s work program
  • Cross-cutting development tasks that strengthen our internal processes and methods as well as collaboration with external actors (clinical committees, councils etc.)

Who are you?

Our new colleague has a long higher education, likely within the social or health science field, and additionally a number of concrete experiences and competencies in working with health economics and driving processes in close collaboration with clinical experts and patient representatives.

We would like you to

  • Have several years of relevant experience from the healthcare sector. This could be from the public healthcare system, from the private sector or from research and analysis organizations
  • Have solid knowledge of the healthcare system structure and patient pathways.
  • Have analytical competencies and interest - particularly with a focus on health economic analyses
  • Have experience and thrive with project management without formal leadership and your role in the team as project coordinator
  • Find energy in and have experience with being the driver of processes with many actors and deadlines and with a focus on making things succeed both in your own tasks and in collaboration with others
  • Thrive in both deepening academically in tasks and facilitating meetings, and being in dialogue with internal and external actors
  • Work independently and have personal impact, which you use to be proactive and setting the framework
  • Know the importance of having control of the details, without letting the details obscure your view of deadlines and expectations for the product.

We offer

  • An exciting job in development with content that you can help shape
  • A fixed onboarding program with introduction to the tasks
  • Flexibility - we have flex time and the possibility of home office
  • Good colleagues and fantastic colleague camaraderie
  • A workplace in development, where we as Sundhedsvæsenets Kvalitetsinstitut (Health System's Quality Institute) must set a significant agenda for quality and prioritization in our shared health system.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week with permanent employment from 01.01.2027.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement with the possibility of negotiating allowances.

You will be employed in the Central Denmark Region with work location in Aarhus, Aalborg, Odense or Copenhagen, and some travel activity in connection with meetings and contact with colleagues can be expected

From January 1, 2027 SundK will introduce a conflict of interest policy to support openness, transparency and trust in SundK’s work with quality development and patient safety in the Danish health system.

As an employee in SundK you will be covered by the conflict of interest policy. Read more here: https://www.sundk.dk/nyheder/sundk-vedtager-habilitetspolitik/
