About the job

Would you like to help lift quality and ensure efficient resource support within the health care system in Denmark? And are you passionate about project management?

Then you might be the one we are looking for as a consultant in the Health Care Quality Institute (SundK).

As a consultant you will be employed in a quality unit and become a central part of our team, working with assessments and analyses of treatment forms that are part of the health care system's delivery of health services, including health technologies, treatments, diagnostics, rehabilitation, prevention as well as organizational and collaborative forms. Here you can read more about: Assessments and Analyses in SundK.

You will also contribute to the quality unit, which also covers tasks within clinical guidelines and clinical quality databases – and together with your colleagues contribute to thinking in synergy across functions and products in the unit as well as in SundK’s solutions to quality challenges in the health care system.

Your tasks

In the professional work with assessments and analyses you will join project groups that work with assessments and analyses. Everyone in the project groups participates in planning and producing the written reports that constitute our assessments and analyses. The reports are presented to the SundK Council, whose primary task is to prepare recommendations or advice to the health care actors based on our reports, see more here: SundK Council.

Your tasks will include

  • Professionally anchored tasks in the concrete assessments and analyses and contribute to define, illuminate, interpret and report on, among other things, clinical, health economic and organizational analysis tasks
  • To plan and manage projects against deadlines and be the point of contact to gather the project group's agenda material for the Council in SundK
  • To ensure involvement of clinicians and patient representatives in the professional committees and plan and facilitate professional committee meetings
  • To be able to tackle health economic related tasks, including contributing to health economic analyses in the guideline area
  • To contribute to qualifying topics for the unit's and the unit's work program
  • Cross-cutting development tasks that strengthen our internal processes and methods as well as collaboration with external actors (professional committees, councils etc.)

Who are you?

Our new colleague has a long higher education, probably within the social or health sciences field and additionally has a number of concrete experiences and competencies in working with health economics and driving processes in close collaboration with clinical experts and patient representatives.

We would like you to

  • Have several years of relevant experience from the health sector. This could be from the public health system, from the private sector or from research and analysis organizations
  • Have good knowledge of the health system's structure and patient pathways.
  • Have analytical competencies and interest - particularly with a focus on health economic analyses
  • Have experience and thrive with project management without formal leadership and your role in the team as project coordinator
  • Find energy in and have experience in being the driver of processes with many actors and deadlines and with a focus on making things succeed both in your own tasks and in collaboration with others
  • Thrives in both deepening professionally in tasks and facilitating meetings, and being in dialogue with internal and external actors
  • Work independently and have personal impact, which you use to be proactive and set the frame
  • Know the importance of keeping track of details without letting the details obscure your view of deadlines and expectations for the product.

We offer

  • An exciting job in development with content that you can help shape
  • A fixed onboarding program with introduction to the tasks
  • Flexibility - we have flex time and the possibility of home working
  • Good colleagues and fantastic collegial spirit
  • A workplace in development where we as Sundhedsvæsenets Kvalitetsinstitut must set a prominent agenda for quality and prioritization in our common health system.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week with permanent employment from 01.01.2027.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement with possibility of negotiation of allowances.

You will be employed in Central Denmark Region with job location in Aarhus, Aalborg, Odense or Copenhagen, and some travel activity in connection with meetings and contact with colleagues is expected

From January 1, 2027 SundK will introduce a conflict of interest policy to support openness, transparency and trust in SundK's work with quality development and patient safety in the Danish health care system.
