About the job

About the positions

As a consultant you will be part of the sections' broad range of administrative tasks.

The tasks include, among other things, triaging cases, quality-assuring the handling of cases and deciding the cases the police themselves are competent to close. In addition, you will assemble relevant cases into complexes, ensuring the necessary coherence and overview in the case material.

The positions therefore require both professional precision, structure and the ability to create progress in case handling, as well as in-depth knowledge of the police's organisation and tasks.

About you

We expect that you

  • as a starting point have a police education with relevant continuing and advanced training
  • can work independently
  • have a holistic understanding of the organisation and the individual task
  • can perform case triage and assess complexity
  • can carry out quality and legality checks and ensure deadlines are met
  • have knowledge of drafting closing letters with justifications
  • can perform qualification of already conducted interviews
  • have experience with administrative work with finalisation of police cases
  • are quality-conscious, responsible and adaptable
  • can communicate and collaborate
  • are service-oriented, cooperative and flexible
  • have the desire, ability and willingness to contribute to an optimisation of the case flow, which can result in police-trained personnel being freed up for core tasks
  • are able to take responsibility for your tasks and have a sense of order.
  • have experience with and a professional profile with limited investigative experience.

We emphasize that you

  • have good knowledge of using POLSAS beyond the ordinary

user interface for case handling – e.g., search functions, a sense for data quality and the more complex functions.

  • possess solid police knowledge that you can translate into practice
  • have solid experience with data processing in QlikView and Polintel, preparing analyses, data extraction and controlling
  • have good written and oral communication skills
  • have an interest and understanding of IT
  • are team-oriented, stable, flexible and engaged
  • can keep a cool head in pressured situations.

Salary and terms of employment

You will be employed on individual terms/ collectively bargained terms in accordance with the then applicable joint agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and the Teachers' Central Organisation and CO10 - Central Organisation of 2010 (LC/CO10 – joint agreement) and the Organisation Agreement of 16 October 2017 for employees under collective agreements in the Police within the Police Union's bargaining area.

The salary is DKK 15,310.27 per month for 15 hours per week.

The weekly working hours will be arranged further, but as a rule 15 hours per week are offered. The working hours are agreed with the immediate supervisor.

Your place of work will be Copenhagen's West Suburban Police with addresses at Birkelundsvej 2, 2620 Albertslund, Helgeshøj Allé 81, 2630 Høje Taastrup or Kirstine Pedersens Vej 6, 2610 Rødovre.
