About the Service Center

The Service Center in Copenhagen is the citizens' 24/7 telephone entry point to Copenhagen Police. We consist of approximately 40 operators, 8 supervisors and 2 section leaders.

We handle a wide range of tasks, including

• Answering 114 calls
• Serving the main switchboard
• Handling PTU (Parking to nuisance) in Copenhagen
• Managing Copenhagen Police's main mailbox – [email protected]
• Creation and handling of reports submitted via politi.dk

About the supervisor position in general

The Service Center supervisors are responsible for shifts from 06:30-23:00, every day of the week. As a supervisor, you are the key person in the daily operations and you are responsible for coordinating the shift tasks. You will have the overall responsibility for:

• Briefing of the operators at the start of the shift
• Distribution of tasks for the day
• Coaching and guidance of the operators
• Ensuring efficient and professional citizen service

In addition, the supervisors perform a number of administrative tasks, such as distribution of incoming emails, participation in meeting rounds and projects, as well as various ad hoc tasks in the back office.

About you

You have a police-specific education (the Police's basic training) as well as specialized knowledge and competencies in the field, and you are capable of solving specialized tasks with a degree of independence in task execution.

In the consultant, police, position, it is expected that you possess an extraordinarily high level of police professionalism as well as solid knowledge and competencies gained through a minimum of 2 years' experience as a supervisor. You must have a deep understanding of the police organization and task execution and have proven your professional strength and ability to actively contribute to the Service Center's development.

As a consultant, police, you will work both independently and in teams, and you will have a central role as a driving force in cross-cutting projects, where your determination and ability to deliver concrete results will be decisive.

In addition, it is expected that you are development-oriented and have an eye for optimizing operational processes, as well as the ability to act on improvement potentials.

Salary and employment terms

Salary in accordance with the police's classification agreement as a consultant, police, in pay grade 3, step 2, level 44 and any current local salary supplements are harmonized according to applicable rules.

You will be stationed for the time being at Copenhagen Police, and you will initially perform duty in the LPE, Service Center, Police Headquarters 1567 Copenhagen V.

You must be able to obtain security clearance to the position's required level. You may be required to perform functions where clearance to a higher classification level is necessary.

Employment in the police and the prosecution service is conditional on maintaining the necessary security clearance at all times.

The service is performed in uniform.
