Control room technician

For our client located in the northern part of Aarhus, Randstad is seeking a technician for a longer temporary position with good prospects for permanent employment. about the job and your daily life

You will become part of a fantastic team, which is divided into electrical and welding/plumbing. Your primary task is to ensure the technical operation of the building so that everything runs optimally. The work is organized in a fixed rotation, where you alternate between:

•1 week in normal operations: Hands-on tasks on site.

•1 week in the control center: Monitoring of alarms and technical operation.

You will be attached to a specific "track" (a section of the site), but you work closely together across all tracks. The tasks span a wide range and include everything from central kitchen to electrical, air, ventilation, sprinkler system and much more.

work time and training

We place high importance on your training. The first 14 days (and preferably the first month) you will be on day shift (7:00-15:00) to ensure a good introduction. The training in your track takes a minimum of 3 months, and no later than after 3 months you will become a permanent part of KC shifts.

When you become part of the work rotation, there will be shift work (day, evening, night and weekend) in 8-hour shifts.

Your profile

To be considered for the position it is a requirement that you have an electrical trades background such as electrician, automation technician or equivalent. You have strong technical understanding and a desire to learn new things

On your first day you will receive an informal introduction to the team and be assigned a personal mentor. You will quickly gain insight into your colleagues' different competencies, so you can brainstorm with each other in daily work.
