Controller with a focus on BI, management information and compliance

Do you want to help strengthen data-driven leadership and develop the future management information in Morsø Municipality?

We are seeking an analytically strong controller who can translate data into valuable management information and support the organization's decisions through BI solutions, controlling and analyses.

The position gives you the opportunity to shape the development of management information and financial management across the municipality. Depending on your profile and experience, tasks will range from development of BI solutions and management reporting to compliance, management oversight and more classic controller tasks.

Your primary tasks

You will among other things have responsibility for

• develop and maintain management information
• translate business needs into concrete reporting and analysis tools
• support management with analyses, forecasts and decision basis
• conduct procurement analyses, monitor compliance and identify efficiency and savings potentials
• contribute to development of management oversight and internal controls
• participate in other controller tasks within finance and follow-up depending on your competences and interests

We envisage that you

• have a relevant educational background in financial management, business intelligence, data analysis or similar.
• have a couple of years of experience from a similar position, but you can also be a recent graduate
• have experience with SAP Business Objects or other BI platforms.
• have strong analytical competences and can translate complex data sets into a decision basis
• have good collaboration and communication skills
• work in a structured, independent manner and take responsibility for your own tasks and actively contribute to solving the team's common tasks

You will report to the Finance Chief Morten Buskov. Working hours are 37 hours per week, and salary is set according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of new pay.
