Controller with focus on BI, management information and compliance

Do you want to help strengthen data-driven management and develop the management information of the future in Morsø Municipality?

We are seeking an analytically strong controller who can translate data into valuable management information and support the organization's decisions through BI solutions, controlling and analyses.

The position gives you the opportunity to shape the development of management information and financial management across the municipality. Depending on your profile and experience, the tasks will range from development of BI solutions and management reporting to compliance, management oversight and more traditional controller tasks.

Your primary tasks

You will among other things be responsible for

• develop and maintain management information
• translate business needs into concrete reporting and analysis tools
• support management with analyses, forecasts and decision-making bases
• conduct procurement analyses, monitor compliance and identify efficiency and cost-saving potential
• contribute to the development of management oversight and internal controls
• participate in other controller tasks within finance and follow-up depending on your skills and interests

We imagine that you

• have a relevant educational background in financial management, business intelligence, data analysis or similar.
• have a few years of experience in a similar role, but you may also be a recent graduate
• have experience with SAP Business Objects or other BI platforms.
• have strong analytical skills and can convert complex data sets into decision support
• have good collaboration and communication skills
• work in a structured, independent manner and take responsibility for your own tasks and actively contribute to the team's joint tasks

You will report to Chief Financial Officer Morten Buskov. Working hours are 37 hours per week, and salary is set according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of the new salary.
