About the position

As a production coordinator, you will be a central part of the production team and will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring structure in both new and established TV formats. You will work closely with reporters, editors, technicians and production managers. Part of your work time will involve news coordination, so evening and weekend work should be expected.

Your tasks

• Coordination of the daily news production
• Planning and coordination of news events, reportage series and post-production
• Participation on shoots as needed
• Administrative tasks, tidying up, ad hoc tasks and ensuring structure
• Maintain overview, handle unforeseen tasks and contribute to creative processes

Qualifications

We expect that you have experience from news production. You thrive with responsibility and creating structure in complex processes. Good competencies include:

• Flair for technical procedures and desire to learn new things
• Strong planning and coordination skills
• Good communication and networking skills
• Administrative overview and ability to handle many tasks
• It is an advantage if you have worked with news events and have knowledge of reportage and documentary production
• Personally you are calm, solution-oriented, flexible, structured and curious

About us

You will become part of DR’s production department, where we develop and test new formats to create content that engages all of Denmark. We work in cross-disciplinary teams and place emphasis on collaboration and diversity.

Practical

• Work location: DR Byen
• Expect varying working hours - DR operates around the clock
• Appointment according to the current collective agreement between DR and MDR
