Create great experiences and safe environments for an active boy

Do you have experience working with children? And would you spend one weekend a month on experiences and 1:1 companionship with a happy boy?

About the task

You will be a regular support for a happy and active 9-year-old boy with infantil autism. He loves cycling, going to the swimming pool and to the beach, jumping on a trampoline and going to playgrounds and the zoo. He also enjoys trips with public transport, cartoons on an iPad and playing with toy cars.

Together you go on trips and do activities that fit his interests. He needs close support from an adult and thrives on predictability and help to find calm and to adapt to the activities.

He can be hard to understand, so he needs you to be aware of his signals and to meet him calmly and clearly.

About you

You can be a pedagogue (educator) or unskilled. It is an advantage if you have experience with autism or from a daycare facility such as a kindergarten or a nursery.

You are patient and steady and want to be active together with the boy.

If you are a trained pedagogue, you will be compensated accordingly.

Working hours

The position is permanent and 12 hours per month. You work one weekend a month

• Saturday 11:00–17:00
• Sunday 11:00–17:00
