Critical Operations Technicians (EL) sought for FE’s new data centers

Do you want to help ensure the operation of the electrical installations in FE’s new data centers – and contribute to Denmark’s security?

In connection with the establishment of FE’s new headquarters at Svanemøllen Barracks, 10,000 m² of new data centers are being built. Here, the electrical installations will form a crucial part of the critical infrastructure that must operate stably and reliably.

Do you have experience with operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure in data centers or similar environments? Do you work in a structured way, take responsibility for the quality of your work, and are you motivated by helping to safeguard Denmark’s security? Then you may be one of the Critical Operations Technicians we are seeking for FE.

You will get challenges and room to develop

FE is seeking technicians for the operations department, which is responsible for the operation of FE’s new data centers at Svanemøllen Barracks in Copenhagen.

As an employee in FE’s data center operations department you will be part of the operation and maintenance of the electrical installations that form a substantial part of the data centers’ critical infrastructure. The work is performed according to defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), where systematic approach, quality and precision are essential.

Your tasks will include

• Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with MOPs/SOPs and the agreed OLAs/SLAs without deviations.
• Handle incidents and changes to the electrical installations.
• Participate in the further development of FE’s data centers in collaboration with the section and your team leader.
• Participate, together with your colleagues, in implementing necessary preventive and corrective maintenance measures.
• Participate in maintenance and optimization of the CTS/BMS system in collaboration with the service provider.
• Ensure that documentation and records in relevant systems are always up to date.
• Identify and follow up on faults, deviations and deficiencies.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call shift arrangement to ensure continuous operation.

You and your background are important

We imagine that you have a minimum of three years of experience with operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure in data centers or similar environments.

You have a qualification as a data center technician, electrician or similar, and experience with SOP-based work and process management.

You work in a structured way, have an eye for detail and are naturally focused on ensuring high quality and compliance with standards. You communicate clearly, take responsibility for your tasks and follow up within your area of work.

It would be an advantage if you have experience with ITSM, CMMS, CTS/BMS and/or DCIM systems.

It is furthermore a requirement that you can obtain and maintain security clearance for HEM.

Your salary package depends on your qualifications

Salary and terms of employment follow the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant trade union and depend on your educational background. In addition, you have the opportunity to negotiate salary supplements based on qualifications.

The average working time is 37 hours per week including a paid lunch break. The position includes a pension scheme paid by FE.

As an employee of FE you are subject to special terms. It is a requirement that you can obtain and maintain a security clearance throughout your employment. As in the rest of the Armed Forces, you also have a duty for short-term assignments abroad.
