CSM design lead with a desire to make a difference for railway safety

Do you want to work at the intersection of security, risk management and technology? Do you want to apply your professional skills to some of Denmark's largest infrastructure projects – and at the same time develop within a specialized field? Then you may be our new CSM design leader.

The Danish railway is being expanded like never before in these years. As an infrastructure manager, Banedanmark is responsible for safety on construction projects.

Therefore we are looking for a CSM design leader who will help ensure that risk management is an integrated part of Banedanmark's railway projects. You will work closely with project managers, subject-matter specialists, external consultants and authorities and will play a central role in the work with CSM.

You work with risks and CSM across the organization

Together with skilled colleagues you will be the link between project managers, subject-matter specialists, external consultants and state and municipal authorities. Your goal – together with your colleagues – is to support the projects in maintaining a high level of safety on the railway.

Your main tasks will be to

• prepare CSM documentation for Banedanmark's construction projects and ensure that it meets applicable requirements.
• advise and support the projects in the various approval processes and contribute with the necessary professional input to risk management
• facilitate hazard workshops where relevant risks for the individual project are identified.
• contribute to the dissemination of best practice within CSM and risk management in Banedanmark and among our partners – both through written communication and training.

Analytical and curious with a desire to learn

We do not require a specific educational background, but we imagine that you have a long higher education degree. You may have several years of work experience, or you may be newly graduated. The most important thing is that you are curious about risk management and want to learn new things and build a strong professional competence within CSM and railway safety.

Your workplace will be at our headquarters in central Copenhagen, close to public transport at Dybbølsbro Station.

You will become part of the CSM Design section, which consists of 15 employees. Here you enter a professionally strong environment with many years of experience within CSM and risk management.

Salary and employment terms

If you are an academic, you are employed under the prevailing collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic organizations for academics in the state.

You are placed based on academic seniority and experience as an associate at the base level in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, which you find here and the Employee- and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you find here .

Depending on your qualifications and competencies there is a possibility for negotiation of a supplement. There will be an employer-financed pension scheme of 18.07%.

Otherwise you are employed under the applicable Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees’ Organizations – The State Sector (OAO-S joint agreement) and the organizational agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT staff.

The position is as a starting point placed in salary group 3, step 1 or 3, step 2, Capital Region according to the applicable collective agreement, which you find here and the Employee- and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you find here .

Depending on your qualifications there is a possibility for negotiation of an allowance. In addition to the total salary there will be an employer-financed pension scheme of 16%.
