Are you ready to roll up your sleeves, learn a lot and become part of a kitchen where we cook from scratch and enjoy working together?

We are looking for a gastronomy apprentice with a specialization in catering and open sandwich (smørrebrød), who wants to become part of our cafeterias in Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality. Here you don't just get an apprenticeship – you get colleagues who cheer you on, and a daily life with lots of flavor, collaboration and fun challenges.

What will you be doing?

You will work with both hot and cold dishes, order goods, perform self-inspections, plan menus and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly – even when it needs cleaning. You will be part of the shift schedule and will primarily work in two of our four canteens, so you gain good experience with different locations and people.

We are flexible and offer both apprenticeship and trainee positions after Grundforløb 2 – and we also welcome adult apprentices.

Who are we?

We are 18 cheerful colleagues who every day cook for course participants, staff, guests and politicians. We have cafeterias in Gislev, Faaborg and Ringe. All cafeterias are part of employment opportunities in Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality.

We care about sustainability, ecology and good food made from scratch. We have a common professional code that we work from – and we prioritize both quality and well-being highly.

The practical

• Working hours: 07:00–15:00 (Friday until 12:00)
• Closed for three weeks in summer and between Christmas and New Year
• Very rarely weekend work and only a few evening shifts per year
• Salary and employment according to the current collective agreement
