Children and parents in Årslev/Sdr. Nærå need more day-care providers. We are short on places, and therefore we are looking for you who dream of a flexible and independent job.

You work in your own home

• You are so lucky to work from home, which provides a very good balance between work and family life.
• You save time and costs on transportation to and from work.
• You have the opportunity to care for your own child under 2 years and 11 months if both child and parents can thrive with it
• You become part of a large collegial network, even though you work from your own home.
• We expect space for play and learning in your home, not necessarily a separate room.

We expect you to

• Plan your workday together with the children, so the activities are based on their interests.
• Can create a daily routine that inspires and motivates the children to play and learn.
• Have a home with good conditions for play and learning – both indoors and outdoors.
• Can establish a good parental collaboration based on involvement, dialogue and trust.
• Can have a reflective view on yourself and your professional practice in the work.
• Participate in a playgroup with colleagues outside your own home once every 14 days.
• Will engage in the work with the pedagogical learning plans.

About the job

• The work as a day-care provider entails working hours that can be from 6:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

An example of a work week can look like this: 06:15-16:00 Monday-Thursday and 06:15-15:15 Friday.

• You will become part of a network group of 3-4 day-care providers, who meet once every 14 days in a playroom.
• You will join a good working community with your day-care colleagues and in close collaboration with the team leaders, where we are jointly developing a professional care offering for the youngest children.

Employment terms

• Full-time position
• You accrue half a day off per month.
• We obtain criminal and child-attestation checks upon employment.
• Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement (FOA).
• The base salary as of 01.10.2026 is DKK 338,996.00 plus pension (annually). As a day-care provider you will receive a tax deduction of 60% of the salary after AM and ATP contributions toward covering expenses for the children's meals and maintenance of the home.
• Start date is expected February 1, 2027
