Daycare Nibe is looking for a daycare assistant or pedagogical assistant for Sønderholm Kindergarten

As of January 4, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter, Dagtilbud Nibe is seeking a pedagogical assistant or educational assistant for 37 hours for the Sønderholm Kindergarten.

We are looking for an employee who wants to be an active part of the children's everyday life, create good relationships and contribute with energy, initiative and presence. You do not need to have experience from a day care, but you must want to make a difference for the children and be part of a strong work community.

Your role and the job

As a pedagogical assistant or educational assistant you will become an important part of the children's daily life. You will help to create safe surroundings, good experiences and a daily life filled with play, community and development.

We are looking for a colleague who wants to be on the floor with the children, who can initiate activities, participate in the play and contribute to all children feeling seen, heard and valued.

You will become part of a staff group that helps each other, rises together and is focused on creating the best possible everyday for the children.

Your main tasks will be to

• Be present and actively involved with the children in daily life.
• Take the initiative for play, creative activities, movement and experiences both indoors and outdoors.
• Contribute to the children experiencing security, care and good communities.
• Support the children in their relationships and social development.
• Join actively in the collaboration with colleagues and parents.
• Contribute to the practical tasks that make daily life function.

Experience from day care or working with children is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Knowledge of ICDP and NEST is also an advantage, but not a prerequisite, as we will naturally help you get started with our way of working.

Sønderholm Kindergarten is located in Sønderholm as the town's only kindergarten. Therefore we have a close and natural collaboration with the local community, associations and Sønderholm School.
