As the Chief Tax you will work closely with both our members and politicians to ensure the best tax framework for Danish companies. Together with our tax team you are responsible for staying updated on the latest political agendas, representing members' challenges in dialogue with authorities, preparing consultation responses and position papers. You will also be part of a team that is responsible for developing and promoting the tax policy agenda.

In addition, Dansk Erhverv holds regular conferences and networking meetings on taxation, advises members, just as we are the spokesperson for our members to politicians, authorities and the media.

The ideal candidate has tax expertise and broad tax policy knowledge, understanding of the political system and the tax authorities – and most importantly a passion for tax policy and cases.

Experience with and professional knowledge of the business sector's tax affairs is a big plus, and you should be keen to advise broadly on tax issues to Dansk Erhverv's member base.

The tasks will include

  • Drive and develop Dansk Erhverv's tax policy with members at the center

  • Write consultation responses and position papers
  • Participation in political dialogues and meetings internal and external
  • Advise Dansk Erhverv's members on tax matters
  • Take responsibility for developing a consistent tax policy across Dansk Erhverv

With you on board you have

We envisage that you have relevant experience with political advocacy in taxation and duties.

We expect you to be resourceful with political understanding and good at writing and conveying political messages, both in writing and verbally. That you have good collaboration skills and thrive in a busy environment where the tempo is high and where you can keep an overview and work with several cases running simultaneously.

The following description fits you

  • You have a relevant educational background in law, economics, political science, or similar
  • You have practical experience in the tax area, preferably from a tax function in a company or as an advisor
  • You have strong analytical skills and experience in engaging in dialogue with political stakeholders
  • You have good communication skills and a desire to be Dansk Erhverv's tax policy face in the media and similar
  • You are proactive and hardworking

We offer

An exciting position with opportunities for professional development, leading a small team, responsibility for your own projects and influence on important political agendas.

A job in a forward-thinking and modern business and employer organisation whose mission is to create competitiveness for our members. You will work with results-oriented, engaged and helpful colleagues who act professionally and academically at the top, and you can expect a workplace with high spirits and short from thought to action. The culture at Dansk Erhverv is characterized by being action-oriented, networked and we make each other look good.

We offer varied tasks in an informal environment. We are network-oriented and place great emphasis on professional communities.
