SMALLER SCREEN - MORE PRESENCE

At Dansk Skoleskak we are ambitious, results-oriented and fight every day to create new paths to learning for 75,000 children and young people who, through the game of chess, learn to stay focused, concentrate and think ahead.

We are a small place where we take on several different tasks, so it is essential that you thrive in a daily routine with different types of tasks — also simultaneously. You will be anchored in our customer service and take responsibility for the daily operation of the shop in Kings Café in Skakkens Hus in Sølvgade. Here you help create an inviting place where visitors feel welcome and receive good guidance.

WORK TASKS

• Customer service: Guidance via phone and chat about The Chess Shop's and Dansk Skoleskak's products.
• Shop: Help customers, advise on products, sell goods and ensure the shop is inviting and well-organized.
• Kings Café: Be a present host, greet visitors and advise on products and the house's offers.

When needed you also occasionally help with practical tasks in the webshop, for example order handling and packing of goods.

You do not need to be an expert, but knowledge of the game of chess and preferably an interest or passion for it is a clear advantage . We provide training on the products and have product specialists you can rely on. The most important thing is that you thrive in contact with customers and visitors.

• You are service-minded and good at making people feel welcome.
• You work independently, take initiative and keep an overview of the day's tasks.
• You are proficient and quick with IT, as we use digital solutions in all processes.
• You bring energy, drive and a good mood.
• You are flexible, and when you face one challenge, you think of two solutions.

Workplace: Skakkens Hus - brain’s fitness center®, Sølvgade 15, 1307 Copenhagen K. or from home when tasks require it.
