Danner is seeking an intern for analysis and data

Why an internship at Danner?

As an analytics intern you will be employed in Danner's Department of Communications & Knowledge, where we are 20 dedicated employees who work with knowledge and data collection, education, national and international projects, fundraising, communication and policy. You will become part of Danner's analytics team, which works strategically with Danner's data and knowledge production with a view to analytically supporting the work to combat violence against women and children.

You will have a varied daily life in a cross-disciplinary environment, where you will work closely with the rest of the department and the organization's employees.

Your tasks will generally consist of:

• Participate in collection, processing and quality assurance of data from Danner's own projects and initiatives.
• Carry out analyses and knowledge production based on your own data.
• Perform varied research tasks and communicate them further.
• Assist Danner's project managers in their work. This may include ongoing project monitoring, method development or reporting.
• Solve ad hoc tasks, including practical and logistical tasks in connection with internal and external events at Dannerhuset.

We are looking for one methodologically and analytically strong intern

We are looking for one intern who is methodologically and analytically strong and can support the knowledge center's ongoing work with method development, data collection and analysis. You have experience with quantitative data collection and analysis from your studies or a student job. And you are used to working with data in, for example, Power BI, STATA, Excel or SurveyXact and possibly with qualitative interviews. We envisage that you are pursuing a master's degree in a social science field, such as sociology/social sciences or political science, or another relevant education.

• You already have your methodological toolkit well filled from your bachelor and are now pursuing a master's, where internship counts as credit-bearing.
• You can maintain an overview of and systematize diverse data.
• You have experience working with data and analysis.
• You can contribute to extracting and disseminating analysis results.
• You can work independently and are happy to ask for help if you need it.
• You are flexible, engaged and enjoy being challenged.
• You are organized and can maintain an overview.

The internship period begins at the beginning of February 2027 and ends at the end of June 2027 (or by agreement). The working hours are essentially 37 hours per week, but flexible. The internship is unpaid.
