Data Engineer/Full Stack developer

Would you like to help build the data foundation behind the green transition? In this role you combine Data Engineering and Full Stack development to create the platforms, analyses and AI solutions that make the future energy system work.

In Andel Energi we are looking for a colleague with solid experience in Data Engineering and Full Stack development for a central role in building, operating and further developing our cloud-native FlexPlatform. You will become part of the core team with a focus on the data foundation, development of the platform’s functionality and making data available for analyses, forecasts, data-driven solutions and AI.

About Andel Energi FlexPlatform

FlexPlatform enables collecting and controlling flexible electricity consumption and production in real time, so the Danish electricity grid can be balanced. The platform connects among other things batteries, wind turbines and solar installations, where data and IoT are crucial for control and optimization.

You will be a key player

You will be part of a team of around 15 colleagues consisting of business analysts, developers, data scientists and external specialists in an agile environment with a solid DevOps approach.

Your main responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data architecture and data pipelines for analyses and model-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with and support data scientists with reliable and usable data for analyses and models.
• Participate in development, integration work and operation of our cloud-native platform.

About you

You communicate clearly, are enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge and contribute to strong collaboration. With a positive and curious attitude you take responsibility and are motivated by developing robust, scalable and maintainable solutions.

We imagine that you have

• a relevant education at bachelor’s or master’s level
• experience with Data Engineering and Full Stack development of complex, mission-critical systems
• experience with data platforms, data pipelines and data-driven solutions for analyses, forecasts or modeling
• experience with modern software development, for example Python, TypeScript or Node.js
• experience with databases, integrations and APIs
• experience with cloud-native architectures, containers and Kubernetes
• writes and speaks Danish fluently

And it is a plus if you also have experience with IoT protocols, message queues and similar.
