TV 2 has an ambition to create more personal experiences, strengthen the relationship with the individual user and deliver more to more people. It requires a shared understanding of our most important data if we are to reach the goal. Therefore we are looking for an experienced Data Governance Specialist who can drive the work with common concepts, data ownership and governance further and translate it into practical value in everyday life.

The team

You will join Data Foundation, where we work to make data more understandable, accessible and value-creating across TV 2. Data Foundation plays a central role in realizing TV 2's data strategy and developing a common data foundation for future analytics, AI and data products.

Data Governance is being established as a separate focus area within Data Foundation. A solid foundation has already been created through work on the data strategy, the common concepts model and a number of cross-functional workshops. So far, the work has mainly been driven by Enterprise Architecture, and you will be the first dedicated profile focused on ensuring the continuation of turning visions into practice.

You will be part of the Data Foundation domain with high professional standards and a strong focus on collaboration. We value pragmatic solutions, shared responsibility and the ability to deliver results through relationships and cross-functional collaboration.

The role

As a Data Governance Specialist you will be responsible for further developing and anchoring the initiatives that will create shared understanding and responsible use of data across TV 2.

You should be able to move between strategy and practice. One day you facilitate dialogue between business and technology, the next you map data domains, document key concepts or analyze the implications of a new data model. We are therefore looking for a profile that thrives in practical work and takes responsibility for driving progress.

The work is, among other things, based on the development of TV 2's common concepts model and the establishment of data ownership as central elements in the data strategy. The goal is to create a common language and a shared understanding of the data that supports TV 2's most important business areas and strategic priorities.

Your primary areas of responsibility will be to

• continue developing and anchoring TV2's common concepts model and central data domains.
• facilitate collaboration between business, product teams and technical specialists around data-related issues.
• support the establishment and maturation of data ownership, governance processes and decision basis.
• map, analyze and document data, concepts, relationships and data domains through interviews and collaboration with subject matter experts.
• contribute to the ongoing development of governance frameworks, principles and working methods with a focus on real business value.

The position can be filled from either Odense or Copenhagen.

Your profile

We imagine that you bring solid experience and have worked at the intersection of data, technology and business. The most important is not whether your background is called data governance, enterprise architecture, information management, data modeling, analytics or Business Intelligence. The most important is that you are used to working in a structured way, driving complex topics forward and turning abstract problems into concrete solutions.

You have a pragmatic approach to governance and understand that good solutions are created through collaboration, dialogue and an understanding of the organization's reality. At the same time you have a solid technical understanding and can talk with architects, developers, data engineers and analysts about how data fits together behind the scenes, moves through the system landscape and creates value for the business.

To create value in the role we would like you to

• have experience from data governance, enterprise architecture, information management, data modeling, Business Intelligence, Analytics or related areas.
• understand IT development, system landscapes, integrations and data models in practice.
• be able to work in a structured way and create progress on tasks where the solution is not given in advance.
• be good at facilitating, interviewing, mapping and documenting complex problems.
• be collaborative, pragmatic and motivated by creating concrete results through others.
