Datacenter Engineer

About the position

team.blue is seeking a skilled Datacenter Engineer for our Infrastructure team. The team's primary responsibility is the operation and design of our 5 data centers, i.e., operation of virtualization, storage, and networking platforms. The team's main task is to provide a reliable platform for our end customers and partners.

In collaboration with the team's two other Datacenter Engineers you will be responsible for the physical part of the delivery to customers, as well as daily operation of all equipment. This includes for example:

• Setup and removal of physical equipment
• Baselining of servers (firmware updates)
• Construction of new data centers and improvements to existing ones
• RMA tasks (typically on servers).

In addition there will be tasks such as inventory of stock of new and extra equipment.

We will of course ensure you receive a proper introduction to the tasks, both through your 18 skilled colleagues in the team, and by giving you the best conditions to stay updated on new knowledge in your field.

About you

We expect you to have an IT-related education, or that you have tinkered with IT for several years. How much practical experience you have is not as important to us. The most important is that you:

• Have a sense of order and a knack for putting things in order
• Are open to learning new things, but also thrive with routine tasks
• Have an interest in learning about physical servers (and everything that entails)
• Have a high level of service and care about quality and finish
• Work proactively and take pride in finding faults before they have business impact
• Can manage your own day-to-day and thrive with freedom under responsibility
• Speak/write Danish and have a good knowledge of English.

To be able to perform the role, you must have a valid driver's license for passenger cars (B). We provide a company van.

You will become an important part of our Infrastructure team. The team consists of 18 highly specialized employees you can always rely on for help and sparring in tasks.
