DAVA Foods – ERP & Business Application Specialist

You will become a central key employee in a strategically important process where DAVA Foods faces a group-wide transition from Microsoft Navision to Business Central.

At the same time you will play a vital role in ensuring coherence between Business Central and the rest of the system landscape and contribute to the continued development and optimization of the company's business applications.

You will step into a central position , where you, with direct reporting to the company's CFO, will have an important role in the transition from Microsoft Navision to Business Central across the group. Initially your focus will be on obtaining a solid understanding of the business, the existing systems, processes and workflows. Thereafter you will become a central key person in the implementation of Business Central in collaboration with an external implementation partner.

You will have a high degree of influence in the role and a wide touchpoint across the business, finance, production, IT and the group's country units.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities will be

• Acquire solid knowledge of DAVA Foods’ existing systems, processes and workflows.
• Be the key person in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and the link between DAVA Foods and the external implementation partner.
• Contribute to analysis, design, architecture and configuration and ensure that the business needs and processes are translated into the right solutions.
• Map and optimize business processes and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvements.
• Ensure coherence between Business Central and the rest of the system landscape, including BI, PIM, document management, warehouse- and production solutions.
• Contribute to development of relevant business applications, including Power BI, Continia and Tasklet.
• Work with reports, workflows, master data and data quality across the organization.
• Coordinate across departments and countries and contribute to testing, training, go-live and embedding of Business Central.
• Contribute to the subsequent operation, maintenance and further development of Business Central and other business applications.

To succeed in the role you will likely have a background in IT and may have worked as an IT architect, project manager or super user within Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central. You have solid experience with ERP systems and preferably with implementation, operation and optimization of ERP solutions. Experience with a transition from Navision to Business Central would be a big plus.

You also have a strong business understanding and financial insight, so you can see connections across the value chain and translate the business needs into good system solutions. You have experience from a manufacturing company and an understanding of processes in production and supply chain, while experience from the food industry would be an advantage. Experience with Power BI, PIM systems, Master Data Management as well as Tasklet or other mobile WMS solutions would likewise be an advantage.

You also command Danish and English at a professional level, both in writing and speaking.
