Are you passionate about pedagogical work with the youngest children? Do you want to be a professional sparring partner for day care providers and contribute to the development of Dagplejen? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for!

Slagelse Dagpleje covers a large geographic area with 69 municipal day care providers, 30 private providers and 4 day care educators. In addition, we also supervise families who receive subsidies for care of their own child.

The mission of Slagelse Dagpleje is as much professional expertise as possible - a mission that is worked on at all levels.

Slagelse Dagpleje operates from an educational basic view, where being a child has value in itself, and where the acknowledging approach with positive expectations for the small child is a core value.

Slagelse Dagpleje is characterized by a culture that protects the small, safe environment in the day care home. At the same time, children are accustomed to larger communities through a formal bridge-building collaboration with surrounding day care offerings.

About the position

We are looking for an engaged and professionally grounded day care educator for a permanent 37-hour-per-week position. You will become part of a dedicated team where collaboration, curiosity and professionalism are top priorities.

Your primary tasks

• professional sparring and guidance of day care providers
• observation and development of the pedagogical work in day care
• contribute to strengthening the existing culture and practice
• collaboration with colleagues and management on quality and development
• documentation and follow-up on pedagogical initiatives
• 1–2 times a week there will be morning duty, starting from home at 05.30
• planning of day care providers' holidays and guest placements of children during the day care provider's time off and other incidental administrative work
