Daycare Midtby is seeking a pedagogue or psychomotor therapist

We are seeking a pedagogue for 37 hours for a small child group, where there is a strengthened focus on clear boundaries, presence, repetitions and targeted pedagogical support.

Who are you?

• Professionally well-founded: You are educated as a pedagogue or psychomotor therapist with solid experience or great passion within neuro-pedagogy and neuropsychological approaches and can combine professional specialist knowledge with general pedagogical strategies
• Expert in child life: You are up to speed with the milestones in children's general development. You know when to challenge, and when to shield
• A calm nervous system: You are mentally robust and present. You do not lose the overview when the waves rise, and the children can safely mirror themselves in your calm

Your primary superpowers

• Translate behavior into needs: You use your neuro-pedagogical knowledge to decode children's nervous systems and signals. You look beyond the behavior and create frames that provide calm and regulation
• Ensure participation opportunities for all: You ensure that all children are supported in their development, well-being and peer groups, with great attention to strengthening each child's participation opportunities – in both large and small communities
• Design strong pedagogical learning environments: You plan activities that challenge and stimulate the child's sensorimotor and emotional development, as well as linguistic, social and cognitive competences – based on the zone of proximal development
• Create structure and predictability: You work in a structured way and master creating predictable and meaningful routines. You bring visual support systems, baby signs and clear communicative strategies into play at child height
• Make each other look good: You share your knowledge and actively spar with colleagues, parents and interdisciplinary partners
