About the job
Step into a meaningful role where you can make a difference for a young man with specific needs. At Boligerne Rude Skov we are looking for a colleague for our team around a 23-year-old man with autistic challenges. He is basically happy and has a lot of humor.
You will have the opportunity to influence the pedagogical goals for your workday and together with your colleagues we hope to be the team where professional nerdiness is a virtue. For us it is important that you are passionate about making a difference for others and can act competently within the given framework. We are looking for you with a social work background who wishes to help and support our fantastic resident.
About the job
The daily effort is about ensuring that daily pedagogical, practical, social and care-related tasks are carried out with professionalism, empathy and relevant support.
The resident has limited resources, on some areas self-sufficient and otherwise generally thriving, albeit stress-vulnerable. The decisive thing for us is your contribution to a structured and predictable everyday life with recognizability and uniformity for our resident.
We work structurally together on the following core task to ensure the residents' meaningful lives:
”In Boligerne Rude Skov we succeed when you as a resident experience a meaningful life. We create that together through recognition, self-determination and security for you.”
Together with the rest of Botilbud Rude Skov we work with the professional approaches sensory integration, total communication and neuropedagogy. We work with clear and detailed individual daily plans and tailored pedagogical support. Our focus on structure helps create the necessary predictability and then security for the resident, which creates the capacity to succeed in daily life.
Working hours will either be in the morning, evening or long shifts of up to 15.5 hours.
Your profile
We are looking for a colleague who has a strong interest in working with residents with special needs.
You have a pedagogical or social-work background and preferably experience with similar tasks and structures or target groups.
It is also highly valued to be able to work independently in daily life, but with respect for collectively agreed pedagogical goals. There is an enormous focus on our core task for the entire unit.
Therefore you should choose us
In Rudersdal Municipality we believe that we only succeed through collaboration. Therefore our goal is that all municipal employees and leaders in all tasks - and in collaboration - work to create sustainable solutions that provide value for the citizens, the company and the society we are part of.
